Important Information about the TIAFT Conference in Cape Town

Yesterday, the TIAFT Board and the Cape Town Organizing Committee met to discuss the possibility of the in-person event taking place in early February of 2022. Given the continued challenges associated with COVID-19 and travel restrictions in place for most of the world, we believe that it is best to cancel the meeting in Cape Town. This decision did not come lightly. Please join me in thanking South Africa's Regional Representative, Alicia Evans, and the entire Organizing Committee for their relentless efforts to attempt to make this conference happen. The Board is working with Alicia on other options for a future meeting in Cape Town. 

As was shared with the membership earlier this year, the back-up plan is to have a virtual meeting. Stay tuned for further information from TIAFT.
