TIAFT Travel Grants will be awarded for members to attend the TIAFT Annual Conference in Auckland, Aotearoa New Zealand, 23-27th November, 2025.
Grants will be awarded to up to 2 Standard Members and up to 4 DCF Members, provided they meet the eligibility criteria (including submission of an abstract to the Annual Meeting) and can demonstrate a strong need for financial assistance.
Due to the high number of submissions we receive we are trying a new approach to enable fair and greater opportunities for DCF members by introducing a prioritisation cycle for regions. Importantly this does not preclude any member from any region from submitting an application but know that priority will be given during the review process to 2 regions each year. For New Zealand, priority will be given to Latin America and Europe.
There is also a new application form which is a Microsoft Form for completion. Here is the link (TIAFT Travel Grant application form). The application has been simplified and by being online we hope you find it quicker to complete.
The application due date is 30th May 2025.
All applicants will be notified after the mid-year Board meeting in June.

Remember, the deadline for abstract submissions for TIAFT 2025 is 14th May 2025 and the deadline for early bird registration is 30th June 2025.
