ACCOMMODATION
Group bookings have been made at a number of hotels to suit all budgets.
To obtain the special conference rates, accommodation bookings must be made through Convention Associates by entering your requirements on the registration form.
Rates shown are per room (not per person) per night and include GST.
Accommodation Deposits
There is a deposit of one night's room rate per room. If sharing, the deposit should be paid by one person only; please do not split the deposit and do not send more than the required deposit. The balance of your accommodation account should be paid directly to the hotel upon departure. Please note that the deposit does not include GST. That will be included when you pay the final account at the hotel.
George Powlett Apartments - Cnr George & Powlett Streets, East Melbourne
Just around the corner from The Hilton-on-the-Park. Rates are $91 (single, double, twin) and $108 (Three bed room). Early bookings are advised for this hotel.

The Hilton on the Park - East Melbourne
Five-star facilities, with the advantage of being on-site at the conference. Rooms are $220 (single, double, twin).
Melbourne Medina Executive - 88 Flinders St
A new, well appointed, all apartment hotel. A ten minute walk from the Hilton-on-the-Park (or a very short tram ride). 2 Bedroom apartments (1 Queen bed/1 King bed, or 1 Queen bed/2 single beds, or 4 single beds) $195 for single occupancy. $220 for 2-4 persons.
Mercure Hotel - 13 Spring Street, Melbourne
Located around the corner from the Sofitel. A five minute walk from the Hilton-on-the-park. Standard room: single, double or twin - $149.00.
Rydges Melbourne, 186 Exhibition St.
4½-star accommodation for those who prefer a central city location. About 15 minutes (walk) from The Hilton-on-the-Park. Rooms are $165 per night for a single/double/twin room
Travelodge Southbank - 64-82 City Road
A new 3½-star hotel close to the popular Southbank entertainment precinct. Just over 1 Km from the Hilton-on-the-Park. Rooms are $119 (single/double or twin).
Victoria Hotel - 215 Little Collins Street
This 3 star hotel in the centre of the CBD is a popular choice for those on a tight budget. The Victoria is a 10 minute walk to the Sofitel. Rooms with ensuites are $82 (one person), $112 (two persons) and $142 (three persons).
