The French Society of Analytical Toxicology (Société Française de Toxicologie Analytique, SFTA) is extremly delighted in having the opportunity to make its contribution to the 40th TIAFT.

International Meeting. Although you know some of its members who are also active members of the TIAFT, let me introduce to you our society: SFTA deals with promoting analytical toxicology and the continual education of toxicologists in France and all French-speaking countries. It organises specialised meetings and one annual congress, and participates in different international conferences. Scientific papers are published in its journal Annales de Toxicologie Analytique. Several committees are working on forensic toxicology, clinical toxicology, occupationnal toxicology, alternative specimens, drugs and driving, workplace drug testing, doping control, accreditation, quality assurance and external quality control. SFTA has 250 members who come from hospitals, universities, forensic institutes, police and private labs. It has a partnership with different manufacturers devoted to analytical toxicology.

All the members of SFTA will be proud to welcome you to Paris and to make you sure to have a pleasant stay for the duration of the conference.
